Mission:

The 137th Special Operations Wing is a force provider organized, trained and equipped to support combatant commanders across the spectrum of conflict projecting airpower anytime, anywhere.
 

Priorities:

Focus on reorganization and training for small units that will deploy in teams to contested environments through the Air Force Force Generation cycle and A-Staff construct.

Bring Airmen together to operate as closely at home as they will abroad by building a culture of connection and taking pride in bearing the Oklahoma Standard.
 

Air Force Special Operations Command Truths:

  1. Humans are more important than hardware. 
  2. Quality is better than quantity. 
  3.  Special Operations Forces cannot be mass produced.
  4. Competent Special Operations Forces cannot be created after emergencies occur.
  5. Most Special Operations require non-SOF assistance.
