State Safety and Occupational Health Office

The mission of the OKARNG Mishap Prevention Program is to minimize the loss of our resources, and protect our personnel from death, injuries or occupational illnesses by managing risks at the appropriate levels. Our State Safety and Occupational Health program is aligned with the following five core functions of the Army Safety Management System: program management; training and promotion; inspections/assessments; mishap investigation reporting and analysis; and hazard analysis and countermeasures. In the OKARNG, we use a systematic approach to managing safety and occupational health programs, processes, and risk. Every voice matters, and every life matters!
