ID Card Office

Effective Oct. 1, 2024, the Oklahoma National Guard ID Card offices at Joint Force Headquarters in Oklahoma City and at the Sand Springs Armed Forces Reserve Center in Sand Springs, Oklahoma will be by appointment only.

Both locations are closed on all federal holidays and will be closed on Wednesdays after noon for administrative time, training and equipment maintenance.

To schedule an appointment:

Visit https://idco.dmdc.osd.mil/idco/locator
Search for and select your desired location
Follow the promts to select your appointment time and date.

Please note that availability of appointments is controlled by the individual ID Card Offices, and questions relating to appointment availability should be directed to your local ID Card Office.

Required Documents

Documents for Common Access Cards

You must provide two forms of valid identity verification. One primary and one secondary form of ID. One form must contain a photo of you.

Documents for Dependent ID Cards

Two forms of ID listed above. Previously issued Dependent ID Cards can be used as one form of ID. These requirements do not apply for Dependents 17 years old and younger.
All supporting documents (Birth Certificate, Divorce Decree, Marriage Certificate, etc.) MUST be original or certified copies.
If your Sponsor cannot be with you in person, you MUST provide a valid power of attorney, Sponsor-completed DD Form 1172-2 from an ID Card Facility, OR DD Form 1172 completed at the ID Card Office Online and digitally signed by the Sponsor.

Frequently Asked Questions and Common Problems

There are no appointments available
Unfortunately, not all sites will have available appointments online (fully booked, not accepting new appointments at this time, or the site is restricted). If you enter your location (Zip code recommended for United States), distance willing to travel, and select the Search For "Appointments" radio button then only sites with appointments will be returned.

If too many results are returned the results can be narrowed by adding a date and/or time ranges to locate the exact appointment you would like.

If no results were found, then change to the Search For to "Walk-Ins".
Book This Appointment Button Does Not Do Anything
Try clearing your cache (Ctrl+Shift+Delete) and trying a new browser session or use a different browser. If it continues to fail, try rebooting your machine.
Site Does Not Contain a Schedule an Appointment Button
The Schedule an Appointment will only be present for sites that have an activate schedule in the system.

If no button is present, read the Site Information text to determine if an alternate method is used for scheduling or if walk-ins are supported.

If no site information is provided, either contact the site or locate a different site.
“Appointment Already Exists” occurs when scheduling an appointment
If you receive an error message “Appointment Already Exists” then please note someone scheduled the appointment first and that appointment slot is no longer available. Select a different available appointment and try again.
Known ID Card Office Missing From Searches
When searching for Appointments only sites with open appointments will be returned. When searching for Walk-Ins only sites with Walk-In hours listed will be returned.
I cannot Find my appointment
If searching for your appointment and it is not found review who the appointment was scheduled for in your confirmation email. Customer Name: First Name Last Name

If your name is listed Last Name First Name, then try searching by your First Name. If you have a middle initial or suffix in the customer name field, then try including these in your search. (e.g., John Smith (search by Smith), Smith John (search by John), John K. Smith (search by Smith or K. Smith), John Smith Jr. (search by Smith Jr.))
I do not know my Confirmation Number
Click the “Search for Existing Appointment” tab, then click “Find my Confirmation Number” and enter the email associated with the appointment and click Send. All future appointments will be sent to the email entered.
