138th Fighter Wing Participates in Readiness Exercise

By 138th Fighter Wing

The 138th Fighter Wing participated in a basewide readiness exercise at the Tulsa Air National Guard Base on Jan. 12, 2025. The exercise aimed to evaluate Airmen’s ability to maintain mission operations in a simulated deployed environment, emphasizing real-world readiness and response capabilities.

During the exercise, Airmen engaged in several critical training activities, including post-attack reconnaissance (PAR) team routes, simulated attacks, and tactical combat casualty care procedures.

The training also provided an opportunity for members to refresh essential skills, such as donning mission-oriented protective posture (MOPP) gear. This specialized gear is vital for operating in hazardous environments impacted by chemical, biological, or radioactive threats.
