Chief Master Sgt. Dennis Dipiazzo

State Command Chief Master Sergeant

Chief Master Sergeant Dennis Dipiazzo serves as the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the State of Oklahoma. He is responsible for advising the Adjutant General and Air Staff on all matters affecting readiness, training, utilization, professional development, health, morale and welfare for approximately 2,400 Airmen of the Oklahoma Air National Guard. As the Senior Enlisted Advisor for Air, he works to provide a cohesive enlisted force and to mentor, educate and grow Airmen at all levels. He leads by example daily to inspire and sustain a culture of team spirit, inclusion, professionalism, honor and integrity.

Chief Master Sergeant Dipiazzo entered the Air Force in 1983, during the Cold War and began his career as a telecommunications systems operator at Yokota AB Japan. In 1986 he was stationed at Barksdale AFB La. where he served in support of DESERT SHIELD & DESERT STORM. In 1992 he separated the USAF and entered the Air Force Reserve at HQ USTRANSCOM, Scott AFB Ill. He was called to duty by USTRANSCOM to support Operations DESERT STORM, DESERT SORTIE, PROVIDE HOPE I & II, and RESTORE HOPE. He joined the Oklahoma Air National Guard in 1995. His 40 years of service consist of 33 years in Air Force Communications as well as private sector Network Management, 2 years as the Chief of Operations for Civil Engineers, 1 year as the Support Group Superintendent and just over 3 years as the 138th Fighter Wing Command Chief. Serving with the 138FW Tulsa ANG, he deployed to the Persian Gulf, Turkey, Qatar, Iraq and Kuwait in support of Operations: NORTHERN & SOUTHERN WATCH, IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM, NEW DAWN, FREEDOM’S SENTINEL and INHERENT RESOLVE. He currently serves as the Command Chief for the state of Oklahoma and as the Region5 Enlisted Field Advisory Council Chair, representing 14,000 Airmen across 7 states to the ANG Command Chief.

Prior to his current assignment, the Chief was assigned to the 138th Fighter Wing where he served as Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Wing Commander.
