CW5 Gregory Kratochwill is the Command Chief Warrant Officer, Oklahoma Army National Guard. He serves as the primary advisor to The Adjutant General in matters of warrant officer promotion, retention, morale, education, and matters concerning improving the Army National Guard operations and efficiencies. CW5 Kratochwill is the principal counselor for the warrant officer cohort and oversees the sponsorship and mentorship for all warrant officer candidates and junior warrant officers within the state.
CW5 Kratochwill commissioned in 1992 through the Oklahoma Military Department Officer Candidate School, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In prior assignments, he has served as the Force Integration Readiness Officer, Joint Force Headquarters; G-1 Operations Officer, Joint Force Headquarters; and Brigade Targeting Officer, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. CW5 Kratochwill deployed to Afghanistan in 2005 as the Fire Finder Section Leader for the 101st Field Artillery Regiment and again to Afghanistan in 2011 as Brigade Targeting Officer for the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. Prior to appointing as a warrant officer, CW5 Kratochwill served eight years as a commissioned field artillery officer and two years as an enlisted member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard.
