Oklahoma National Guard publishes 2023 Governor's Report

The Oklahoma National Guard has released the 2023 Governor's Report detailing the actions of the Oklahoma National Guard during 2023.

Highlights include dropping more than 167,000 gallons of water from helicopters to fight wildland fires, the Defensive Cyber Operation Element winning the DoD's largest unclassified cyber exercise, and the Oklahoma National Guard supporting law enforcement to seize more than 64,000 pounds of illegal drugs worth more than $78 million.

Competitions like this build esprit de corps and encourage Citizen-Soldiers to improve their individual skills, which creates a more ready and adaptable force to respond to federal and state missions.
