Brig. Gen. Brent W. Wright

Brigadier General Brent Wright is the Assistant Adjutant General,
Oklahoma Air National Guard. He is the principle advisor to The
Adjutant General for Oklahoma for all Oklahoma Air National Guard
matters. Brigadier General Wright additionally is responsible for the
combat readiness and operational effectiveness for all Oklahoma Air
National Guard units.

Prior to his current assignment, General Wright was the Vice
Commander of the 138th Fighter Wing, Tulsa Air National Guard Base,
Oklahoma. As the vice commander, he assisted the wing commander
in the organization, training and deployment of the second largest
combat coded Air National Guard fighter wing, consisting of nearly
1200 Airmen.

He began his career in April 1989 as an Infantryman with the 45th
Infantry Brigade. He received a direct commission into the Army's
Judge Advocate General's Corps. He transferred to the Air Force
Judge Advocate's General's Corp and subsequently became a line
officer commanding at the group and wing level. He has deployed in
support of numerous operations including Northern Watch, Joint
Forge, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom.
