JFHQ-OK and the leadership at Camp Gruber welcomes States and their Joint Task Force Commanders to visit our Joint Task Force (JTF) Training platform. Our JTF training platform provides the conditions necessary to train Joint Mission Essential Tasks (JMET) and execute collective training, capture lessons learned, and develop solutions in response to domestic emergencies and CBRNE hazards . The Joint Task Force (JTF) Training platform is a focal point for Joint Tactics Techniques and Procedures (JTTP) and preparing forces for tactical employment, and operations within the domestic environment.
Camp Gruber's JTF training platform provides a unique Joint Command and Control Capability Area (JC2CA) that provides realistic CBRNE conditions for JTF commanders to exercise their authority, provide direction and train their forces. Camp Gruber's JTF training conditions supports and provides multiple venues and/or facility platforms to execute force-level planning, execute CBRNE tactical operations, monitoring operational activities and enables Joint Task Force Commanders and their Joint Planning and Execution teams to conduct an operational assessment of joint operational activities.
Camp Gruber's JTF Training Platform provides a condition based functional area for exercising Joint Command and Control (JCC). Camp Gruber's JTF Training Platform provides facilities and training conditions to allow JTF commanders the ability to exercise and perform command and control functions through their arrangement of personnel, equipment, communications, and procedures to plan, direct, coordinate and control forces and operations” (Joint Command and Control Joint Integrating Concept)
Camp Gruber is working now on providing other tools for JTF Commanders and their Staff's. Joint Command and Control Support Systems (JCCS) such as Common Operating Picture and collaboration technology within a JC2 center are being developed.
